Spring is here and I am eager to design with all the fabulous spring flowers and blooming branches that this season has to offer.

Blooming branches create a beautiful backdrop for the couple or any photo session {be it maternity, bridal, family or other}

Bridal bouquet included some of my favorite spring blooms {most of them are locally grown right here in Oregon}. Ranunculus, freesia, pieris, vibernum, spray roses, heirloom carnations, eriostomen, plumosa and a hint of silver dollar eucalyptus.

A beautiful floral accent piece for the hair completed the look.

Mary and Alejo Oregon Wine Country Wedding

I am finally getting around to blogging this gorgeous wedding captured by Kari Renee Photography.

Mary and Alejo got married at the beautiful Methven Family Vineyard in the Oregon Wine Country. There is something about working out in the wine country that I really enjoy. The rolling hills and the casual relaxing atmosphere is everything.

Mary's wedding flowers featured mostly locally grown blooms including dahlia, scabiosa, nigella, lady mantle, seeded eucalyptus, mini green hydrangea, lisianthus, succulents, dusty miller, roses and larkspur.

Rebecca + Will {Grace Community Church- Gresham, Oregon}

Rebecca and Will happen to be friends of mine and I really enjoyed creating beautiful flowers for their wedding day.

The wedding was held on a cold {but sunny} February day at Grace Community Church in Gresham, Oregon. The plum purple and gray color palette was sure to brighten up this cold winter wedding.

Rebecca's bridal bouquet consisted of the most amazing Japanese sweet peas, deep purple ranunculus, green berzelia berries, Italian pon-pon ranunculus, purple lisianthus, hyacinths, stock, anemone, dianthus and trachillium.

Modern wrist corsages for weddings and special occasions

Forget about the old high school wrist corsages full of bling, tulle and spray paint. There are countless options when it comes to beautiful and modern wrist corsages.

I really enjoy designing wrist corsages; they are tiny little master pieces. Very intricate, detailed and full of unexpected textures. The sky is the limit when it comes to flowers to wear.

This ribbon tied wrist corsage features red piano garden roses, willow eucalyptus and pieris japonica

I loved creating this delicate yellow and gray wedding wrist corsage with orchids, hypericum, craspedia {billy balls}, dusty miller, silver brunia and plumosa

Gray, plum purple and orange wrist corsage features pincushion protea, berzellia berries, scabiosa pods, hypericum and plum purple sweet peas.

I absolutely adore plum purple anemones and this simple yet elegant sage ribbon wrist corsage was stunning

This is my most favorite color of ranunculus and paired with all this texture made it absolutely pop. Rose hips, blackberries, nigella pods, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus and astrantia

Going right along, this is Flower Crowns -part 3 of 5. Truly so many amazing options out where when it comes to flowers for your hair.

This floral crown is one of my personal favorites. Its small and dainty, yet very intricate and detailed. It features nigella pods, piers, ilex berry, succulents, plumosa, string of pearls and straw flower.

This lovely purple floral crown was designed for a June wedding. It consists of lavender, chrysanthemums, mini roses, eryngium, blueberries, nigella pods, seeded eucalyptus and plumosa fern.

This rustic/country themed flower girl floral crown is designed with two types of feverfew daisies.

Beth + Erik - Open Door Baptist Church Troutdale, Oregon

Beth and Erik got married the week of Valentine's Day 2014, its hard to believe but we had a small snow storm that week. This late in the winter, its pretty unusual for the Portland metro area. 

With snow on the ground and all, I was still able to capture Beth's love for bold beautiful colors. I had full creative freedom to design the flowers as long as they included a bright color palette. 

Beth's bouquet consisted of some of my favorite blooms. Garden roses, lisianthus, stock, wax flower, queen annes lace, parrot tulips, berzelia, cymbidium orchids, ranunculus and maidenhair fern.  I was very happy to be able to design with all seasonal flowers, locally sourced and 100% American Grown.

Cory + Tyson -The Oregon Golf Club Wedding

Another set of gorgeous purple flowers, this time for a winter wedding at the Oregon Golf Club.

Cory's lush hand-tied bridal bouquet included hydrangea, anemone, ranunculus, trachillium, stock, jasmine vine, carnations {yes carnations can be stunning in unique colors such as purple}. Bouquet was tied with creme colored lace. 

Bridesmaids carried all white bouquets of hydrangea, lisianthus and pieris japonica {aka Andromeda} which really stood out agains the charcoal gray dresses.

Purple flowers for a spring wedding

I designed those beautiful floral pieces for an intimate wedding held in Sandy, Oregon.

This wedding featured mostly locally grown flowers from Oregon and California.

Bridal bouquet included mini purple phalaenopsis orchids, spray roses, hyacinth, mint, hydrangea, sweet peas and jasmine vine from my yard.
