Caiti and Brad {Classic Ballroom Wedding at The Nines Hotel Portland, Oregon}

Caiti and Brad had a beautiful and classic ballroom wedding at The Nines Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Wedding colors consisted of blush pink, ivory and silver accents.

Elevated centerpieces were dripping with orchids, garden roses and hydrangea accented with silver mercury glass vases and votives.

It does not get any more classic than this!

Laurence + Ranjit {A Modern Indian Wedding at The Resort at The Mountain}

I loved creating the flowers for Laurence and Ranjit's fall wedding at The Resort at the Mountain in Welches, Oregon.

The bright colorful fall blooms included dahlia, zinnia, roses, coxcomb, ranunculus and lots of lush foliage. The bright colors, gold lanterns and vessels were a nod to the Indian heritage.

I absolutely loved designing the "henna" style swirl rose petal aisle design featuring thousands of rose petals in coral, burgundy, yellow and orange.

The asymmetrical style floral arbor was a perfect statement piece, and a great way to frame the bride and groom during the ceremony.

The fabulous dessert table and cake was created bu Lux Sucre. The detailing on the cake was just amazing.

Taylor and Kevin's Oregon Coast Intimate Wedding/Elopement

Taylor and Kevin came here from Oklahoma to get married at the Oregon Coast. This was a special location to both of them, since this is where they got engaged.

Taylor wanted a lush, organic, free form bridal bouquet featuring white flowers and lots of foliage and textures.

I created her bouquet to include peonies, spray roses, ferns, seeded eucalyptus, blushing bride protea, lysimachia, olive branches, ruscus, camelia foliage, calycina and oregon grown blackberries for that added texture.

"Lora is incredible. I could not have dreamed of more beautiful flowers to make my wedding day feel so incredibly magical. I had a destination wedding on the Oregon coast, and many of my details about where I needed the flowers and what time I needed them changed several times throughout the planning process. I loved creating this all green boutonniere consisting of ferns, seeded eucalyptus, ruscus, blackberries and olive branch.

I love the tiny olives that made their way into this all foliage floral crown.

The Oregon Golf Club Bridal Show

I had the honor of participating at the Oregon Golf Club Bridal Show once again. This is a couture bridal show that is only open to Oregon Golf Club Preferred Vendors and I am pleased to be among the best wedding vendors here in Portland.

I cannot say enough about Aniko Productions-they are the husband and wife team behind those photos and are one of the top wedding photographers in Portland. I get very excited when photographers take the time to capture all the little details. Getting amazing photos back is literally like Christmas!!!

Designing our space with the help of gorgeous rental pieces I sourced through Barclay Event Rentals. All the linens, chairs, flatware, chiffon arbor backdrop, etc was provided by them.

I chose to work with my favorite color palette -purple! I used various shades of purple, lavender, ivory and blush/peach and foliage to create the garden style designs which are also formal and very stylish for any client getting married at the beautifully draped ballroom at the Oregon Golf Club.

Reem and Omar's modern Indian wedding at Abernethy Center

Reem and Omar had a beautiful summer wedding at Abernethy Center. Reem choose the classic blush and gold color palette.

Flowers included garden roses, hydrangea, cafe au lait dahlias and gilded foliage for that pop of gold.

I especially loved decorating the beautiful wedding cake. Kyra's Bake Shop is absolutely amazing and this cake was no exception. Its a bit hard to tell in the photo, but this cake was dusted with gold food safe glitter to create an ombre effect on each cake tier.

Katie + Torsten November Wedding at McMenamins -Kennedy School

This beautiful November wedding at McMenamins Kennedy School has got to be one of my absolute favorites from 2016 wedding season.

I love it when the bride chooses a bold color palette and lets me design the rest. I enjoyed selecting the dark moody tones with a lot of textural elements.

To me floral design is like painting, the various flowers and textures that I choose are perfectly blended together to create a beautiful masterpieces or in this case Katie's stunning bridal bouquet.

A cold November wedding outside in Portland, Oregon cannot be done without the cozy blankets the couple has provided for the guest during ceremony.  So glad the rain held off and we got some beautiful outdoor photos by Elissa Deline Photography.

Bridal Editorial Shoot with Spotted:Stills Photography- Portland, Oregon

Where do I begin? This was a beautiful collaboration between several amazing wedding professionals in the Portland area.

I cannot get over how perfect this wedding gown is from Brides for a Cause. Did you see those gorgeous feather details on the bodice? Absolutely exquisite and worked perfect with the all white bridal bouquet I created with all locally grown {Oregon Grown/American Grown} flowers. Including white lilac and deutzia from Glenwood Farms, Peterkort freesia and blooming spirea.

I love designing lightweight, yet lush and full bouquets that look loaded but are practical and elegant for the bride to carry on her wedding day.

Lacey + David {Bohemian Portland Backyard Wedding}

Lacey was the sweetest and most laid back bride ever. The overall wedding was very casual and understated. She wanted a bouquet of wildflowers and a dainty floral crown to match.

I really enjoyed designing flowers for Lacey and David's wedding at their Portland home.

Winter- Valentine's Day Editorial Shoot

This beautiful editorial shoot took place during the craziest snow/ice storm here in the Portland metro area. It was extremely cold and snow was everywhere. 

The wonderful team of talented wedding professionals made it happen.

My favorite little surprise was the sweet baby pig named "Matilda" who took part in our shoot.

She was quite fond of the bridal bouquet and kept smelling and trying to eat it. Must have been those fragrant pepper berries.

Klara + David -East Fork Country Estate-Fall wedding in Oregon

This beautiful October wedding took place at East Fork Country Estate. 

Klara chose a fall color palette which included marsala, burgundy red, orange, bronze and gold. The overall floral look was lush, elegant and full of texture and locally grown blooms

Klara's bouquet was lush and full of all types of goodies: garden roses, dahlias, scabiosa, cox comb, parrot tulips, rose hips, eucalyptus, jasmine vine, pincushion protea, agonis, nandina, amaranthus. Its a great time of year here in the Pacific NW for locally grown flowers -such a bounty. I was happy to use mostly locally grown flowers for this stunning fall wedding.

Estera + Aaron {Abernathy Center -Portland Wedding}

This beautiful wedding took place on a warm October day. The ceremony was held at the Abernathy's Abigail's Garden while the reception was indoor inside the main ballroom at Abernathy Center in Oregon City.

The color palette was featuring various shades of orange and burgundy and included lots of fun fall branches, berries and ofcourse the local dahlias.

Estera's Bridal bouquet included locally grown red piano garden roses, dahlias and rose hips along with ranunculus, cymbidium orchids, black baccara roses and safari sunset.

Jenni + Daniel {East Fork Country Estate} Damascus, Oregon Wedding

I cant believe it been a year since Jenni and Daniel got married at East Fork Country Estate in Damascus, Oregon. They were absolutely the sweetest couple. I designed flowers for Jenni's sister a few years earlier so it was great to see everyone again. Jenny chose the softest shades of blush pink, peach and ivory as her primary color palette for her May wedding.

Being right in the midst of the local peony season, I could not resist myself to use such lush and fragrant flowers. Fluffy pale pink peonies were everywhere and they were stunning indeed!

Veronica and Elijah had a beautiful mid September wedding at the exquisite Sentinel Hotel in Downtown Portland, Oregon.

The bride chose rose gold accents and shades of blush pink as her main color palette. That theme carried into her lavish blush toned gown from Ania Collection.

Bridal party flowers consisted of the most luxurious local cafe au lait dahlias, ranunculus, garden roses, sweet peas, snow berry, dusty miller and blushing bride protea.

The wedding was held on a cold {but sunny} February day at Grace Community Church in Gresham, Oregon. The plum purple and gray color palette was sure to brighten up this cold winter wedding.

Celebrating 10 Years of Marriage and Flowers

Its not often that I get out of my comfort zone and get in front of the camera, especially featuring my own floral designs. But to commemorate 10 years in the business as well as 10 years of being married to my wonderful husband; who is my rock and I could not do what I do with out his full support and encouragement. We decided to do a photo shoot with one of my favorite photographers Jenn from Spotted Stills Photography.

This was a perfect way to celebrate our marriage and floral design together in one. We are lucky to live right down the road from this nature park, a perfect spot for a mini photo shoot. This being Oregon, it started to sprinkle during our shoot; but we did not let the rain stop us.

A huge shout out to Janelle from The Prettiest You/Contoured Salon for fitting me in at the last minute for make up. Its always a pleasure to work with you.

I loved my dress by LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls, it was very stylish and comfy.

My bouquet and floral crown featured some of my favorite blooms in mauve, blush pink, peach and gray tones. Blushing Bride Protea, Astrantia, Pieris, Spray Roses, Carnations and Dusty Miller from my own yard.

Garden Time TV-Fresh Flowers on Wedding Cakes

Garden Time TV featured fresh flowers by Sophisticated Floral and wedding cakes by Kyra's Bakeshop. 

I teamed up with Kyra's Bakeshop {100% Gluten Free Bakery} to showcase how fresh flowers can be used to enhance a wedding cake design. 

Here is the Garden Time TV segment. {This was my very first time on camera so please excuse any fumbles.}

You can spot some beautiful locally grown blooms including lilac, freesia, ranunculus, succulents and even grape hyacinths and dusty miller right from my own yard.

Jaydeep + Priya Wedding proposal at Lan Su Gardens, Portland Chinese Gardens

Jaydeep chose the most stunning setting to propose to his girlfriend Priya. 

I was honored to provide gorgeous flowers to mark this momentous occasion. Erica Ann Photography captured this special moment at Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland Oregon.

The groom to be, wore a stylish botanical pocket square that I created to coordinate with his suit and tie. It was a fun and unique alternative to a traditional boutonniere. 

Priya's favorite flower "the Peony" was featured along side garden roses, freesia, jasmine, camelia, ranunculus and foliage in this beautiful garden style set up; marking the spot where Jaydeep proposed.
